Poppy....
You were the only grandfather i ever had, but you were such a great and loving Poppy that I didn't feel the abscence of
another grandfather. Most people wittness death, and some are lucky to only have to deal with it when they reach adulthood.
But I was only in grade six when you passed on.
You taught me so much, big things like how great life can be if you MAKE it great and little things like how to fish.
You had eight grandchildren, four children, and a wife who love you very much, and you still have us. Now you have another
grandchild, and it saddens me to know that my youngest cousin never met you. But he will, a long time from now, someday...
Anyway, Poppy, I just wanted to let you know how much you've touch mine and other's lives. A massive amount of people
came to your funeral; you are loved.
We miss you a lot, and sometimes, sitting in Ontario, it feels like you still are there in Nova Scotia. But then I realize
that's just a dream...
But Poppy, I know I will see you someday. Someday far from now, I will join you.
I hope when I come, the fish are biting in Heaven!
I love you, Poppy!
xoxo love, Laurie xoxo
